Sister’s stew for me, without a doubt! It’s the dish that I took one look at and fell in love! Even Martin’s description contributed to my passion, but you guys brought it to life! YAY!!
Actually got to make a few of those recently, white beans and bacon being surprisingly delicious, and of course the iced milk with honey tastes like delicious cereal milk minus the crumbs and soggy bits. But come on, we all know it’s Sister’s Stew. Or is it Sisters’ Stew, since it’s representative of The Sisters?
I, too, can’t wait to try the Sister’s Stew recipe (I’m waiting for colder weather – it just looks so heavy for summer and I didn’t find you until about 2 months ago). But the honeyed chicken is something I’m planning to try soon. I’ve decided to save the Pork Pie for the Season 2 premier, since it’s from the correct book :D
Sisters Stew is what makes my mouth water the most, even though I’ve yet to try the recipe. Just reading the description in the book made me salivate like none of the other dishes did!
I’m telling you, it’s the hot new thing the fantasy kids are going to make for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. I’m counting on Sisters Stew and cream of wheat to keep me warm and full in the cold Iowa winter.
I made the Sisters Stew and the arugula, grape, cheese, fennel, pecan salad as part of our Game of Thrones themed Emmy watch last night. The stew was a big hit. I’m delighted that George got you guys a cookbook contract, which I will reiterate when I have dinner with him on Thursday. I’m looking forward to trying more of the recipes, which before yesterday, I had only been reading.
Brilliant! Thanks so much for the comment, and I’m glad the stew/party was a success. Say “hi” to George from the innkeepers, if you get a chance. And do let us know if you have any requests! :D

I’m doing a SOFAI themed Christmas Dinner. Sister’s Stew is on the menu.
Ooo, good luck!! You have all my envy!! :D

Honeyed Chicken is a HUGE hit in my house, never a scrap left when I make it.

Being new to the site I’ve yet to read about more than half of these (and seem to be unable to find some of them) but I’ll go with the Stew. :]
